Home Page Advanced Search - Why?
I presumed that the advanced search promised for 3.1 was going to be an improvement on the existing search - ie useable on the home page in some form or other. From what I understand - and apologies if I'm wrong - it can only be accessed once a specific category has been clicked on. This is very disappointing. Search is the most important feature of a classified site imo, and I waited patiently for the upgrade in order to make it the major function of the home page. PLEASE bear this in mind for the 3.1.1 non RC version. The mod that hugo built was the right sort of thing but I couldn't implement it successfully myself, I did try but I couldn't get it to work. Does anyone know if this home page advanced search is possible/planned, or how to mod it to work if it isn't?
