    How To Add Icons For Ad Categories (Tutorial Doesn't Seem To Work)

    I have tried in vein to add category icons to my parent ad categories. I get no results from the tutorial at all. The second part of the 'Child Theme Tutorial' is partially out of date (the log-in section) and doesn't work and I have assumed that to be the case here at this point although there may be some success stories. Is there any magic or anything else to know?

    My test icon is good, the category number is good, the code is identical to the tutorial but I get no results whether placed in the main or child css. No picture shows at all. This really shouldn't be hard given that icons are used on the demo site. I don't seem to be the only one with problems though.
