How many of you have had success charging for ads?

I'm asking this because I find it hard to believe that people would pay for ads on your website when they can go to a bigger website such as Ebayclassifieds, Oodle, Local and post for free.

I'm talking about U.S. users.

I use adsense on my site and I plan to integrate the featured listings in the future when my site gets more popular.

I think Appthemes should focus on improving the user experience rather than focusing on ad packages.

I just find it hard to believe that people would pay to list something anymore when there are many sites out there that lists for free.
