How to offer ability to be Featured for different categories
I want to offer my customers the ability to be Featured in different categories, not just the homepage. This doesn't mean that if they are featured on the homepage they will automatically be featured in all the categories, but rather they have the choice to be featured separately in any or all of the Homepage or individual categories. So for instance if it costs $5 to be featured in a single category, and they could choose to be featured in Categories A & C, it would cost them $10. For this to work, I would need the 'Featured Ad (sticky)' tickbox to show for each category on the 'Edit Ad' page for admin.
I know there is a plugin called
Rich Category Description which enables you to add a Featured Slider to the top of each category, but I don't know how to integrate this with my idea. Any suggestions?
