How to set a new landing page/first page when visitors come to site?

                    Hi all
I know that I can change the landing page/frontpage of Classipress. It is as simple as going into my
WP admin - going to
WP not Classipress "Settings" then "General" and "Reading" there I chose a static page to be my frontpage. Then I can choose that the first page a visitor sees when he types
www.mysitename.com is for an example "About".
This is fine
BUT unfortunately when doing the above the normal homepage of Classipress is no longer accessible. Meaning visitors can no longer access the site with the featured slider, the "latest ads" "Popular" "Random" showing etc. etc. and that is not good.
What I need is: Being able to choose a new landing page/first page visitors sees by choosing static page under "Settings/General/Reading" in Wordpress admin - for an example "About" page. Then the visitor will first land on "About" page BUT the normal "Home" must still remain and be accessible for the visitor so when the visitor clicks on "Home" in the menu he should get to the normal homepage
Can somebody tell me how to do this? I am willing to pay a fee for a detailed tutorial.
Cheers
Chris
