Image in Header

Hope I'm posting this in the right place. When viewed at a higher resolution the image in my header does not span the width of the page. Here are two websites. Notice how in one of them, Local Riding Horses for Sale , the image (960 px width) crosses the entire top of the page regardless of the monitor's resolution. On the other hand, you can see on the page I'm experimenting with, http://www.spinbay.com/ , the image (also 960 px width) does not. What must I edit to remedy that?
