lightbox - another lightbox plugin - simple lightbox

could i use another lightbox for images/galleries ... i installed the Simple Lightbox plugin and together with Shortcodes Ultimate plugin. the reason i want to use the simple lightbox plugin is that images inserted like mediafiles into a page are open in lightbox but they are without description and not responsive. So my qustions is:
how to disable current lightbox implemented in classipress to be able to use the simple lightbox plugin? Thanks for any help/hint! oeoe
