List all tags

Hi

I know there is a tag cloud widget but I do not want to use that. I am looking for some code where I can generate a list of all tags. The default wordpress in the codex does not work so I am wondering if anyone knows how I generate a list of tags which has a number next to it to say how many adverts use that tag? So example:

Tag Name (12)
Tag Name 2 (43)
Tag Name 3 (0)

I would style it myself so no issue there, I am just trying to figure out how to do it. Thanks
