    Multiple "Blog pages show at most" settings

    I have my wordpress setting of "Blog pages show at most" set to show 6 ads.
    On the main page, I would like the random ads, latest ads, etc. to only show 3 ads.
    6 on the main page is just too much. Does anyone know a simple hack to the code?
