Hi every one

In fact iwas searching & reading the forum for a while looking for this mod or solution, but couldnt find something related exactly to what i am looking for



I want to translate the ( front end of the site ) using the .mo file.

I know there is a way to do that in case if you want to translate the whole theme to one language.


But what i am looking for is : having two languages using .mo files & to be able to translate only the theme, not the content. For ex: category names in two languages, post an ad button, submit button ... Etc. The visitor can switch the theme language using a theme language switcher


So when the user is browsing the site and make a query for "cars" he will get listings which was placed in the same category no matter what language it is, so he might get a result of mixed ads based on the language used by the posters when posted the ads

Is it possible to use two .mo files to achieve language switching ?


Some of the guys mentioned that using multiple installations is the solution BUT the question is :

If we use multisite to achieve the multilingual, how can i sync the categories to show up ?

Ex: showing listings which are under the same category from both sites, rather than showing the resultes from one site only ?
