New ClassiPress Child Theme from scratch using Bootstrap

    Hi.

I bought ClassiPress and installed it. But the look needs to completely change to a custom designed theme.

I can code a custom Wordpress theme from scratch no problem. But in this case, I will need to build a child theme. Which I'm not too familiar with.

And I'm scared that when the theme is updated, that my child theme will still work without problems.

So... Can anyone point me in the right direction by any chance?

Or can I just copy all the files of the original theme, make it a child theme and then just re-code each file using bootstrap?

Any help would be much appreciated.
