PayPal Payments?

Can anyone clarify for me?

I have set everything up as I thknk is correct for free listing but paid featured items.

I notice that when you select Featured during an ad listing that at no point does it ask for payment.

it then comes up asaying that the ad has been submitted for review and that it can be managed through the dashboard.

When you go to the dashboard it say status (awaiting payment).

No is this the way it is supposed to work?

If so, is it just me or does the text on the message a bit confusing because at no point does the site give intruction to the user to make payment?

Assuming this is normal I will change the success message to include "if you selected a featured listing, please proceed to the dashboard and click on the paypal symbol to make payment"..

OR AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG??
