Posters delete now becoming a nessasary requirement.

I have to say that today I have had loads of emails from users asking why people cant delete their own ads!
It really is becoming a pain.

Ok I can understand the SEO problems but just not to allow it is really causing people not to register and use our free site now! They want control of what they are posting wouldn't you?

If it isn't possible to delete the ads fully why not allow them to be removed from public view like i guess the auto delete works?

This does cause me further concern as the server will be holding large quantities of redundant files just to keep the SEO happy. I guess they will remain until the next clean install of CP?

Personally I would like to see the facility whereby the admin of the site either does or does not allow the customer to delete their own ads. If this be permanently or by the other method mentioned above. This should I feel be an option not a hard coded function.

I hope some others feel the same way, I know some do as I have looked though the various threads, but this could spell the end of using Cp for me I fear as I have so many people now not wanting to post without the logical ability to delete their own work.

Please please supply a delete button in the customer posters section, I know we can ask them to use the pause button , but these means more annoying emails just to tell them what we should be supplying them with. I wonder if someone could produce the code to create a proper delete button even if it has the same effect as the pause! Perhaps someone in the group might be able to help?
If only I was a coder.
