Pricing for categories and subcategories
Hello! I have a site that offers mostly free posting. The only categories that cost to post are automobiles, watercraft, jobs, and services. So, I have a category "FOR SALE" and under that is an extensive list (some free and some paid). When someone posts an ad...they click on the "FOR SALE" category and then choose the subcategory (and it says..price based on category). That works just fine but I recently had someone post under the top category "FOR SALE" something that should have cost money to post. If anyone searches for the item in the search box, it will come up.
My question is: Is there a setting where I can eliminate the ability to post in the top category "FOR SALE" and force users to post in the particular category they need?
Thinking out loud....anyone could post an automobile for sale in the free general subcategory and still be found through the search function. True?
