Question about Multisite Functionality

IT is an awesome tutorial! I have been looking for something that would help me (in plain english) and this did it. I am so grateful.
One quick question.
I have installed the Classipress theme as my primary theme and the Vantage theme as my secondary theme.
I would like to have my site use the directory and events feature of the vantage theme. Like this:
examplesite.com/
examplesite.com/directory
examplesite.com/events
Right now, I have have the Vantage theme showing up properly for the directory link, but can't get it to fit on the events link.
Instead, it looks like this:
examplesite.com/directory/events
How do I tweak this?
