Wow. I expecting more of an apology… considering I've waited patiently for 3+ months without saying anything.
If I told one of my paying clients back in September that something was "due out at the end of the month" and then didn't finish for another 3, I'd certainly be very apologetic. But you seem to be more concerned with semantics than addressing customer feelings… paying customers who are trying to keep you accountable by the way.
If you think paying customers should stop asking when to expect it, then you should be prepared to finish it on a more timely basis. IMHO, you've lost a great deal of professional credibility by suggesting that I simply "trust" it will be out when its ready, rather than adhering to any kind of a consistent deadline. There is no trust, and my organization has decided to launch our site without classifieds.
