Removing default thumbnail when ad has no images

I've been trying to find a similar thread on this, but can't seem to find anything.

on my site http://www.ethicallivingdirectory.ethicalliving.com.au/ I will be offering listings which will not have any images associated with them. At the moment, when no image is uploaded, the default no-thumb.jpg is shown on the homepage and single page listings. I would like to be able to remove these...that is, no thumbnail for listings that have no images, but of course, if the customer has images, they can upload them as normal.

Any advice?? I'm new to Classipress, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
