Require approval on edited ad?

I have it set up that all news ads require approval before being posted to the Live site. Is there also any way to require approval on ads that have been edited or at the very least notify the site admin what ads have been edited. Otherwise the site is still open to abuse as the user can post a legitimate ad and then go back and completely re-edit it without the site admin knowing.
