    Show Parent Category in post ad process...

    Hi all,

    This question has been asked quite a few times on this forum, yet there's been no real answer.. which has become a bit typical for this forum (unfortunately).

    I am wanting to show the parent category and sub-category when posting an ad to indicate to users what area they are posting in - example below.

    Example Hierarchy: Tools (parent) -> For Sale (sub-category)

    CURRENT CLASSIPRESS STRUCTURE
    Category: For Sale (change)

    DESIRED STRUCTURE
    Category: Tools -> For Sale (change)

    None of the solutions on the WordPress forums will work, as even if you call the parent category, it only shows the sub-category anyway. Believe me, I've tried them all!

    So, surely somebody knows how to achieve this? Any help with this is greatly appreciated, as it has me pulling my hair out!
