    Showing sub categories as a main sidebar widget

    Is there a way I can make a sub-category show as a sidebar widget on a homepage.

    My website is a cars classifieds. I do have a sub-category with brands of cars, is there a way I can make the brands show as a sidebar widget on homepage?
