So what has happened to Classipress 3.5.5?

So it appears, according to the release information page, that the release of Classipress 3.5.5 is now "TBD". Can anyone "in the know" please share what is going on. It was scheduled for beginning of April initially and now we are 5 weeks later and it has changed to TBD. Is Appthemes still having trouble finding a permanent developer for this and relying on temporary hires or otherwise? Please let us know as we are in the dark entirely. Thank you!
