Spam, reCaptcha, subscribe alert mail... and craic!

App Themes provides very good themes.
ClassiPress is one of my favorite.
As it has already been discussed several times over the years, I think that an efficient anti spam filter (reCaptcha) in the sidebar-contact.php is missing
Could, App Themes, or an independant coder create a plugin?
Another plugin:
New adds: Visitors (registered or not) could subscribe to email alerts (with specific category)?
My sites were invaded with spams. I installed the reCaptcha on my websites on the advice of Barukar:
