Tooltips as popup images instead of text?

Hi all,

I would like an option to set the tooptips to popup as an image on some of the fields, rather than the standard text. This way I can demonstrate the most appropriate options to select based on the shape of an item, rather than just a description, as the proper names for the shapes may not be obvious to my customers but they can readily match a shape. It would probably be best to have this as a small additional icon NEXT to the existing tooltip where required, rather than replacing/hacking the existing and code.

Any suggestions?
