I have many wordpress websites and I get this email from my hosting account that my account has been hacked. It wasn't a apptheme but it was a very well know provider of templates. That being said I have been doing some research on what needs to be done to hack proof the website. Can you give any insights as to what to use, who to call that is reasonable plugins etc.

I am scared to install the plugin bullet proof security thinking it will shut me down some whay.

I have read lots of post, but they are mostly plugins and that is what got them in the last time.

Please share your knowledge so that we can safely run our websites without having to wonder if we are going to be compromised while we sleep. Thanks
