Yoast Seo/Webmaster sitemaps
I am using Yoasts seo plugin, I do not have w3 total cache installed.

I have created my xml sitemap and submitted it to google webmaster, however I am getting an error for my ad tags-Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.

I have tried to exclude ad tags in the sitemap via the seo settings, but it has not made a difference.

I have attached screen shots below.
