    Ads Sidebar and Page Sidebar. What's the difference?

    In Admin > Appearance > Widgets there are two sidebars for placing widgets called Ads Sidebar and Page Sidebar. Nothing works if I put it in Page Sidebar, or I'm not seeing the pages where it's supposed to do something. What am I doing wrong?

    All of my widgets are listed under "Ads sidebar" and they all work ok. I actually don't recally the other being there previously? Either my bad memory or perhaps it only showed up after the recent WP upgrades?

    They've both been there all along. One of my sites is WP 2.8.1 and it has both of them there.

    Can we get a confirmation that Page Sidebar does nothing and shouldn't even be there.
