Backslashes before apostrophes

I am having an issue when someone types something in their ad with an apostrophe ' , it puts a / instead.

Does anyone know the fix to this issue?

It happens sometimes. Html is getting itself confused. When it does happen I just use the code for an apostrophe in the editor. The code is ’
So, for example:
He does, doesn't he
becomes
He does, doesn’t he

It looks a bit whacky when you type it but the browser figures it out.
