Categories Not Listed On Ad Page

Hello,

Not sure how to make it so the categories will show up when viewing an ad?

This it what shows on the top left of your demo page when looking at an ad:

Home > Pets > Dogs > Bulldog Puppy

However, on my site there is no breakdown category list showing when you are viewing an ad? All I get is a:

<< Previous Next >>

showing up on the top right of the ad?

My site is: Chiobo.com

It looks like you haven't installed/activated the breadcrumb plugin. Please re-read the README-FIRST.txt file for instructions.

7. Go to the plugins page and activate the new plugins one by one (EXCEPT FOR the "Breadcrumb NavXT - Core" plugin). After you activate each one, go back and make sure your site is still working. Sometimes your existing plugins will interfere with new ones. Activating them one at a time helps isolate which one is causing the problem. You'll need to configure some of these plugins before they look exactly like the demo.

Not really sure why you say: (EXCEPT FOR the "Breadcrumb NavXT - Core" plugin)

I must be reading it wrong or something? Do you mean do NOT activate this plug-in?

Also, there are two Breadcrumd plugins that show up: Breadcrumb NavXT - Adminstration Interface and Breadcrumb NavXT - Core????

Do you activate one and not the other? I get a fatal error message when I try to activate Breadcrumb NavXT - Adminstration Interface?

Just an FYI this is the error I receive for the Breadcrumb NavXT - Adminstration Interface plugin:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/coffeeas/public_html/chiobo/wp-content/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/breadcrumb_navxt_admin.php on line 37

I just wanted to say figured it out:

Question: I receive the PHP error “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /wp-content/breadcrumb-navxt/breadcrumb_navxt_admin.php on line 37?.

Answer: Beginning in 3.0.0 Breadcrumb NavXT requires PHP5, please update to PHP5. If your host does not offer PHP5 hosting yet bug them until they do.

PHP5 did the trick for me.

Reviving a question from above that I still don't see an answer to:

I wasn't clear on this either... There were 2 Breadcrumb plugins, and we are told to activate the first one, but do we ever activate the "Breadcrumb NavXT - Core" plugin?

No. Do not activate the core plugin otherwise you'll get the error listed above.

So exactly WHY is this plugin there at all?
I have only the one Breadcrumb NavXT plugin, not 2, so what's the point of it even being there?

Neeeevermiiiind...
The plugin needed to be updated. Somehow it didn't show as needing an update when I first installed everything.
I deleted it, re-uploaded it, and then it showed it needed an update, which I did, and it now woiks pissuh!
But, yah, activate it last, and if you get an error, delete it completely and either upload it again or just go to the plugins site and get the latest version.
