You mean you'd like to style the content within <code> tags when someone posts it in the description area?

yea. what i need is a field either by the description or a field i can add that will accept html code and not strip it but show it exactly how its typed and not try to implement it.

Have you considered turning on the "Allow HTML" option? That would solve your problem.

I tried that and all though it does not strip the html it tries to implement it. When someone types < h2 > i want it to show up has < h2 > and not this
