Dashboard, edit ads for subscribers

hi !
i just purchased the classipress template.
i uploaded, i activated

everything looked fine, until one friend told me that dashboard link is not working it send to 404 Page not found ...

"NOTHING FOUND FOR DASHBOARD ..

Page Not Found

The page you are looking for has been moved or does not exist. Please try another url or use our search to find what you are looking for."

then also he asked me how to edit an ad... i said where is the link, but he cannot see that.
he sent me a screen capture, and i saw he cant watch the EDIT AD link, but i could watch it, so i change his user permissions and only he could watch that if i change him to administrator.

so i guess something is wrong.
please anyone can help ?
i spent 59.00 bucks for a template that is not ready to be 100% ready or what ?

please support me.

You still have to do a few things manually before it is ready, but nothing major.

Sounds like you possibly haven't created the pages for these as per the installation instructions http://wpclassipress.com/install/, if not that then it will be related to permalinks (you may need to change the permissions of .htaccess).

That's something you would need to do on the host side using your ftp client, but start with the page issue first as it may be your only issue.

ok about these 2 points ...

# Create a brand new page in WordPress and name it “Dashboard”. Before you publish it, assign it the “Dashboard Page” template. You will find it under the “Attributes” right hand section in WordPress 2.7+. If you still don’t see it, go to the top of the page and click “Screen Options” to enable it there. Now publish this page.
# Create another page called “Edit Ad”. This time assign it the “Edit Ad Page” template. Now publish it.


i dont find the DASHBOARD PAGE template or the EDIT AD PAGE, it doesnt exist, just the MAIN PAGE or ABOUT, but it doesnt appear even i checked the screen options.

As above: If you still don’t see it, go to the top of the page and click “Screen Options” to enable it there.

like i said , i did that
and in the screen options doesnt appear !

now its even more disaster
after i clicked again on the screen options
and now doesnt appear anything at the sidebar
no attributes, no anything, i changed to 1 column and get back to 2 columns
and nothing changes !

well, we are going from worse to worst

all right everything solved
something happened and the theme was unactivated and another template was activated even i didnt give that order

now i see the templates in attributes
