Different Problem with Thumbnail

Generally Thumbnails are showing. For those ads where the advertiser doesn't add a thumbnail I would like to add a generic image. I have sized the image 50x50 and uploaded it into the same folder where all the images sit i.e./wp-content/uploads/classipress/. I then insert the image url into the customfield in the edit post menue and and yet all I get is a white square. The image shows inside the post but not as a thumbnail on the homepage. What am I doing wrong?

When you have placed the URL in the custom field, is there a comma after the URL path? If not, put one in there and see if it works.

Yes, this is a mistake I made myself. The comma has to be there are the end of the location line for it to be called in.

Hi,

Is there a way where an embedded image (not uploaded by the poster) can be set as the thumbnail of the ad?

ex. user did not upload an image but embedded one on his post.

I'm asking this because my space from my webhost is kinda limited.

Also, in case there's no mod or this is not possible, can you help me with the original problem above? Sorry if I don't understand that much. I'm kinda new to wordpress and classipress as I just installed this 2 days ago.

I would just like to clarify what version you are using, as you have posted in a support thread for version 2.9.3 and earlier.. If you are actually using 3.0 and above please start a new thread in the relevant forum. Thanks
