DONT WANT HOSTING COMPANY TO SHOW ON EMAIL

    Hi guys!!

I dont want my shared hosting company domain to show when a user requests a new password with the password reset option.
For example, it shows as the FROM email address:
    audiopordf@box5331.bluehost.com

I dont want that to show.
just want the name of my domain.
    for example:
    support@example.com

    any ideas?

    thanks guys

I think you should review your wordpress setting because everything at my end is ok.

Just check if you have the wordpress admin email set just right.

    You mean in General settings?
If so it only shows this:
E-mail address: support@example.com This address is used for admin purposes, like new user notification.

When someone registers they get their login information and it shows the same email as above (support@example.com)
but is not the same shown when someone uses the password reset option. they get a different address which actually shows my email box provided by the shared hosting provider.

    any ideas?

    thanks in advance

Is your wordpress installation done through Fantastico or simple scripts?

But anyway, just ask your host support if they have something to do with it..

I have the same problem, and managed to find the solution here http://www.bluehostforum.com/showthr...t=15765&page=3. Basically you need to change a few things in /wp-includes/pluggable.php

Well, it fixed most of it anyway.. My e-mails now show the e-mail address I want, with the correct "From" name.. but in the e-mail header under the subject line, it still shows "mailed-by" with my bluehost info in there.. If I could just get rid of that then it would be perfect..
