Drop down custom field

Hi folks!

I urgently need your help. I am just about to launch a job board based on Classipress. However I need to implement one crucial drop down field, which would let the users to choose whether they are seeking a job or offering a job...Could someone post a quick tutorial?

you might scope this tutorial on turning the location field into a dropdown, and see if it's somehow adaptable to your needs:
