    Re: Duplicate content issue

    In what way?
If you're relying on user generated content then they could post duplicate content.
Apart from going in and manually there is no way.

    Re: Duplicate content issue

well, every classipress job board is made of a user generated ads and there is no exception in my case. but apparently my visitors have recently developed a habit of posting duplicate ads, so their ads would be always on top. therefore, there is a great chance of getting a penalty from google because of this duplicate content. so i was wondering if there is any sort of plugin which would scan ads for duplicate ads and would automatically delete the duplicate post?

If you aren't selling ads on your site then just change the "Default New Ad Status" option to "draft" and you can manually approve each ad.

    Re: Duplicate content issue

Duplicate content is also a bit of an urban myth, so I wouldn't worry about getting penalised by the big G on that front.

In Google's view, it's more important that your site provides a useful function to your visitors than worrying about duplicated content.
