i want to know how i can exlude a catégory to the listing on main

i have a category "news" where i give news of my website and i doesn't whant the article of this category was display on my ads listing in home page

how can i do that

To save you playing with any of the code, you could perhaps do a search for a plugin to do this job for you. I haven't tested it myself, but this is the first one that came up when I looked http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/...gory-excluder/
