"Exclude Pages from Nav" option not working.

For some reason the pages that I add to the "Exclude Pages from Nav" in the settings area still show up on the site.

I've added the names of the pages every way that I could think of but nothing happened. I added the pages number but that didn't work either.

I tried separating the names and numbers different way such as:

    (3,3,.....)
    (3, 3, ......) <--Space

I just cannot get the pages to go away.

At the moment I just keep parenting the pages away but I'm somewhat "blogging" on the site and so I create a lot of pages and it's getting hard to just keep nesting them so any thoughts would be really helpful.

    Thanks in advance!

I know that it's the middle of the holiday season and the admin and mods are most likely out but if anyone has even a clue as to why this feature does not work for me could you please drop a message.

One thing that I think could really help to is paste the pages you have in the nav area for your site and I will copy paste them into mine and just rename them to fit my site. This will be a test to see if I'm just not entering things correctly as far as adding a comma and spacing.

    Thanks!

Hehe, yeah it's probably the quietest time to be hanging around here with people on holidays and all

I'm sure you have already read the information for that section on how to obtain the page numbers?

Enter a comma-separated list of your user "dashboard" and "edit-ad" page IDs so they are excluded from the navigation (i.e. 44,45). To find the Page ID, go to Pages->Edit and hover over the title of the page. The status bar of your browser will display a URL with a numeric ID at the end. This is the page ID.

Maybe if you provided your URL and advised what the current page numbers are you are inputting that might help others to look at it?

Yeah, I read and reread all the instructions but to no avail.

    Here is my site http://www.grandviewrentals.net"

Terms of use, profile and dashboard should all be gone but as you can see, still there.

I find it a little repugnant that you are giving the MODS attitude about not getting back to you quickly. I have helped you on a couple different issues and in return I found you simply copied some of my content. If you had asked me I would have given it to you. But instead you simply copied some text and then went to wordpress.org and asked people to help you copy my footer. I actually don't have a problem with that. That's how it goes.

What I do have an issue with is you seem really reluctant to post your own URL in the wordpress help center because as you say, "It's not professional" and "SEO reasons" but you had no problem posting my URL a few times.

    Hello,

I want to have my footer like this one:

    http://www.newengland1.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I've looked at the source code through the "page source" option but I just cannot seem to figure out how to make the footer stretch across the whole bottom like that site. I'm using the same theme.

Do you have an URL? Honestly, I don't understand why people come here and obfuscate their URls or hand out fake ones... weird.

    Yes, I have a URL.

The reason that I'm not giving it out is because it's a professional site and I do not want to be giving backlinks from wordpress's help center to it. It's too new of a site that if I post the url here that it will show up in google when people search for my site, not professional.

    Simple answer: SEO reasons.
In my opinion that's a little douchy.

I'm so sorry, I didn't take your site into consideration. I do sincerely apologize about that. Believe it or not I have tried to go back into my comments from the past and take out the url's after someone has left a comment but for some reason on this forum you are not allowed to edit a post/comment after a half hour or so, and at that you are only allowed to edit your latest post.

Honestly, I'm sorry and I do appreciate the help that you have given me in the past.

As for the mods I do not feel that I'm giving them attitude as I have had this issue opened for more than a week now and still have not heard anything back, and I did make a comment about how I understand that it's the holiday season and that I know that mods are busy and so I asked if any other users could help me get my problem solved. So I don't hold anything towards the mods and or the users here. I simply typed "Anyone have any ideas for me?" to bump my thread back up.
