    Header Logo

Ok, this might be a newbie question but I wasn't sure where else to ask.

I am trying to change the logo on Classipress 2.9.2. I turned off the adsense ad and want to insert a logo at the top that is 936x80 over the top of the header.

When I enter in the logo in the admin area of Classipress it doesn't line up how it should and hangs over the top of the search bar.

I know this can be done, but I'm not sure how to do it. Can anyone tell me how?

The easiest way to get things arranged perfectly is to do it manually with css/html..

Do you know any css or html?

I know some html, but I'm used to using Dreamweaver. Haven't done it by hand in years.

CSS i don't know much about, but I catch on pretty quick.

Yeah, the logo spot wasn't designed to stretch all the way across so you'll have to either make your logo smaller or go into header.php and rip out some code & adjust the css. Most people just rip out the code and hardcode in their logo.

Check out the customer showcase page of other sites who have done this. You can then view the page source or use firebug (firefox plugin) to see how they did it.
