Has anyone got to suggest a good wp plugin which would track users submitting ads?

there are alot of php codes to display ip address..

maybe we can add it to scare off some poeple..

Good idea. It's something you can add as a hidden value and pass into a custom field on the ad record on commit. I'll see about adding it in v2.9.3.

My idea was that administrator would be able to see in the dashboard who is posting the ads. I have just had an occurrence when someone posted a malicious ad blackmailing a person. And I didn't have any details who posted this ad. So if we could have such feature in the upcoming release of Classipress - that would be great.

Agreed, it would be convenient if it were there because of situations like that.
In the meantime, if you you have access to your server logs...
Open the offending ad for editing from the wp-admin, you will see the date and time the ad was last edited (and revision history can also be found down near the bottom of the edit page). Check your logs for that time... you'll find the IP.

yes is important if someone sell`s stolen goods and need to contact police or police contact site owner
