Member profile not showing - Resolved

When I click on the seller profile in the ad, I get a 404 Error.

Is there is a setting I missed or can this be a glitch.

Thanks for the reminder.

I just completed reading the install guide for the fourth time and completing all the steps once more, and still the same results.

I double checked the classipress folder and ensured that the folder was rewritable and no luck.

Also, in another post I indicated member profiles are not viewable, could this all be connected?

I went through all of the previous posts that are similar in nature to my problem and found no answers to my problems.

I am sure it is something simple, however, I just can't figure it out.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ok, some help will surely be appreciated as I am close to resolving this. I have narrowed it down to the permalinks - I think.

I now have the Dashboard working. If I click on it in the top right corner, I get the users dashboard with out problem.

Now the problem is this:

When I click on the users name inside the ad, I get a profile page, but it states "Page Not Found".

I have changed the permalinks to >Custom > /%category%/%postname%/

Can anyone assist in pinpointing this problem?

I am using WP 2.7.

How was this resolved as I am now having the same problem with my users.

I registered a user account to experiment, placed an ad, went to the dashboard and [page not found].

As an administrator, I cans see my dashboard fine.
