    Need to customize the theme

I am currently testing Classipress v2.8.1. I am happy with most of the features supported by this theme, however, I do not want to sell classifieds from my website.

I just want to use this theme for displaying products in a showcase. So I need to get rid of the 'Post a Classified!' button from the main page. I ,however, would need the facility to post the ads when I am logged in. I'd appreciate if you could let me know the steps I should take to make this customization. Thanks in advance.

You'll need to read up 'if logged in' commands in the WP codex.

Although I'm not sure why you want to purchase a classifieds theme when you don't want to have a classifieds theme, if you know what I mean!

Thanks, I will check the documentation for 'if logged in' commands.
I am trying to simulate a showcase like in this page
    http://www.best-trade-car.com/carview.php
I can do it with php scripts, but I want to achieve similar effect in a wordpress based blog. I am sure I could achieve my goal this with this theme.

What do you mean by "testing v2.8.1"? You have to buy ClassiPress in order to use it.

He means he downloaded an illegal copy of an older version. I'll send you a list of locations, so that you can have them removed.

That's what I figured and thanks for sending me a list. It's ashame that a few people can ruin the party for everyone. The good news is I've have full cooperation with the ISPs to remove the illegally hosted files thus far.

Please don't assume things and be arrogant like that. I was going through all the sample sites in your showcase to test the features supported by your script. I don't want to ruin by money by buying a product which does not support the features I want. Anyway, you lost a potential customer by your arrogant attitude.

I made the assumption, not dcowgill. Why penalize him?

If that's what you meant by, "testing Classipress v2.8.1", and do not currently have a license, then how did you know which version each of the sample sites were using? Especially when 2.9 was released a few days prior.

Yes, I was replying to RyanMac actually and did not accuse you of anything. But in all honesty, how do you have a version of ClassiPress anyhow without paying for it?
