Not receiving email notifications

Hi everyone.

I've searched the forum and tried everything, so now posting my own message.

Neither me (as admin) or the advertiser gets an email when they post their ad.

The 'contact advertiser' bit works.. (I've changed that mail to wp_mail in the side.php)

So, any thoughts? Help! And many thanks!

I'll add, I don't make advertisers register, if that makes any difference?

Do you receive an e-mail notification when someone registers? E-mail related problems come up every now and again and usually it is host related.

Just set up the 'registering' bit to check - and NO neither I nor the person registering gets an email.

Will try a STMP plug in as suggested.

HOWEVER, when I was using the AWPCP (Another Wordpress Classifieds Plugin) before i found 'Classipress', I received all notifications from that.

It's only now, after installing and using 'Classipress' that notifications have stopped!

Any further thoughts and can any recommend a good plug in?

Ok, many thanks, getting an email now when someone registers.

BUT still not getting an email when someone posts an ad/ reports an ad, etc
