PayPal Awaiting Payment

I have entered a test ad with PayPal set to live, have paid PayPal, and received confirmation that my payment was received. The ad never cleared the awaiting payment status. How would you suggest I correct this?

Hi.
I think that what may have happened is that the "return to store" link on the paypal confirmation page was not clicked. This is necessarily so your site will know that the payment has been processed. If your customer does not click it, as directed, your site has no way of knowing that the ad is good to go. I'm pretty sure this can be automated, but have no idea how.

Quick fix: In WP-admin, go to edit posts, and change the status from draft to published.

Thanks for the help. I tried the return to link on PayPal and the ad remains unposted. I have received a notification of payment received but Classipress has not released the ad and still list it as awaiting payment.

When you clicked on the link from paypal that took you back to your site, did you get the giant green box on the homepage telling you the ad was now live? Once you see that message, classipress changes that post from "draft" to "publish".

Are you running any cache plugins? Also make sure your post prune is either turned off or set to many days in the future.

What is the url to your site?
