    Please Help!

I finally seem to be getting things set up, but very slowly. Just need help to fix a couple more things.

    1. Thumbnail pics not showing.

I have read though all the tutorials, but cant seem to find anything that fixes my problem. What am I doing wrong? I have added the folder to /wp-content/uploads/classipress and the image is in there. But just doesnt show on the homepage, or at the bottom of the ad page. But when I click on it, it does enlarge to show the full image.

One think I did notice is it automatically added a folder called 2009 to the uploads folder, but there is nothing in it.

So, as far as I know... I have a pretty permalink now.. I have the classipress folder in the uploads folder...so what is wrong?

    2. Changing mandatory fields

I followed this turorial to make it so that the price and location are not mandatory fields viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1036&p=4247&hilit=price#p4247 and it worked fine. But whenever I try to edit the add as a member those fields are mandatory again. Where do I need to edit the code so that I can remove this from the edit page? I have looked in the tpl-edit-ad.php file, but cant find any code that looks similar to what is in the tutorial.

Hope someone can help me sort these things out, especially the thumbnails.

    My site is www.taiwandeal.com

    Thanks

Do you have the thumb-cache folder?

I'm sorry I got it wrong as I was just referring to my installation.

I guess your case has something to do with permissions.

    Re: Please Help!

    It was just the cache actually as referred to in the installation guide;

CHMOD the directory “cache” on your server to 777 (not always required on all servers). This sets the folders permissions to be writable.

    http://wpclassipress.com/install/

Just recheck your installations and the Classipress settings in your dashboard.

    Who is your webhost?

Just try asking your host if the GD library is installed on your server.

    GD library?? What is that?

I host with Fat Cow. Surely all files that are installed should be viewable in the server admin where I see the files.

    Re: Please Help!

GD is a function that gives capacities to resizes images.

Your image is there so that should be the problem

Ask your host about GD support.
