post-form.php white page error

I have updated my post-form.php several times before with no problems. Today I went to change some wording for some of the form fields, but when I try to update the post-form.php it goes to the wordpress white page of death screen. The form still works on my website, but now I can not update it at all?

All the other php files still update fine it is just the post-form.php file that goes to the blank white screen when I try to update it.

Any help would be appreciated,

Just an update:

I ended up manually installing WordPress 2.8.4 file by file and now everything seems to be working fine again. Still have no idea why the above problem occurred though?

You'd have to turn on php errors so the white page of death will actually show you which file and line number was causing the problem. Glad it's working now though.
