Published posts slip back to draft.

Published posts keep slipping back to Draft mode, and (obviously) stop showing in the listings. Have not altered anything in the admin settings. Any hints? Thanks.

I can only think of it being related to the admin settings (Default new ad status and Ad pruning settings), but if you have checked these I don't know?

Yes this happened to me when I had put up an original Welcome post for each catagory then a month later noticed some missing catagorys - it was because my prune was set at 30 days so the post fell off and so without a post the catagory did to..

Going in and editing the post won't correc it either - you need to either make a new post or change your prune days to longer.. changed mine to 90 and hope by then I'll have a post in every catagory..

Thanks guys. Actually, I had to refresh my install and that took care of it as nothing else worked. What happens under the hood stays under the hood

I'm having this same problem. My welcome post just slipped back to draft on its own. I have no idea what could have caused it.

This is goofy! It slips back to draft but there's no option for "publish" to re-publish it. That option is just gone.

I thought it might have expired or something but the post shows 01/01/2010 for "expires" in the post edit panel.
