    Reject an ad after PayPal?

    Hello,
The customer I'm building this site for sometimes rejects ads based on content.

With moderation turned on, will the PayPal transaction occur even before it's been approved/declined? I'm worried that we may have to offer refunds occasionally and how to work that into the workflow.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!
    Craig

Yes, payment is made first. To avoid the hassle of refunds, I would state somewhere on the site that "under your terms, ads submitted that are not approved do not get refunds" or something like that. I would just make it clear that if people submit junk, they won't get their money back.

That's exactly what I did, created iron tight terms and conditions for posting ads - no refunds for spam, garbage or unrelated content(deemed at my descretion).
Always treat everyone with respect and courtesy, but trust no one.
