    Remove sidebars on log-in/register pages

Please can you tell me how to remove the sidebar on the log-in/register pages.

    For example, see here: http://www.businesscomputingworld.co.uk ... -login.php

    Thanks!

Edit your sidebar.php with an if/ else statement along the lines of:

    if title=login show nothing
    else
    show sidebar

    Google if/ else +wordpress.

Re: Remove sidebars on log-in/register pages

When I delete the contents of the sidebar.php file nothing happens on the site, so adding an if else statement doesn't make a difference. Please can you give a reply for someone who isn't experienced in Wordpress development.

    Thanks!

I just thought that I'd reply here with my findings for those of you trying to find this answer still, because after 4 hours of searching the forums here for an answer to this issue, and not at all understanding the one answer that was posted here, it dawned on me to simply change the page attributes to "full size" rather than "template default" and when I did that, it removed the sidebars just as I wanted on the register page as I added my own registration form that is much wider than the page setup with sidebars. So I hope this helps someone else.
