    V2.9.2 Upgrade: How To...

    Currently using v2.9.2.

    Just wondering if you just have to ftp the whole v2.9.2 file and tick overwrite. There's no upgrade instructions that I can find.

    If you read my title and post, I was asking about the upgrade not the installation. That link is about installation. I'm assuming, I just have to overwrite the whole file.

    If you're upgrading from 2.91, have a look at the changelog.txt.
    If you've done lots of customizing, and don't want to loose what you've done, you could compare the updated files to your old ones and apply the individual changes yourself.

    Or... just copy everything over and start customizing.

    If your site is "live", don't forget to go into maintenance mode before you begin.

    I've just put together the official v2.9.2 classipress upgrade instructions and will send out an email to subscribed customers later tonight.

    Serious, i don't understand how to upgrade and remain my site look in 2.8.2 ...
    and also extra CSS file --> master.css.

    I just need to copy and replace all CSS ? will do ? how about footer, header and bla ???

    The master.css file is basically a consolidation of all the exact same properties across all the other .css files.

    In the upgrade documentation, I recommended you create a brand new theme folder and put v2.9.2 there. See how it looks on your site and the bring over any mods you've made. It's easier that way unless you want to compare each file line by line.

    Please read it in the blog if you haven't already. It was also included in the customer email sent out earlier this week.

    i does read the blog and upgrade .....i try compare files to files but basically the css files is totally different from previous version so it make that impossible to import old css ....

    btw i din't received any email ??
