Change background of the standard Clipper theme

Hello!

I am trying to change the background of my Clipper website. I tried looking at similar threads and I found someone who had a similar problem (link: http://forums.appthemes.com/site-backgorund-32651/) but he was using a different script so I am unable to solve my problem the same way.

I have attached two screenshot of my site. As you can see I have changed the header-bg-blue.gif and bg-body.gf, but they do not automatically resize in my window. I would like my header and background to fully stretch out.

Could anyone tell me how to solve this issue? what do I have to edit in my style.css?
