CP addons for Custom Fields (Suggestion)

I was wondering if it would be possible to implement the functionalities of CP Addons with Custom fields.
Here is what I mean:
1. Let’s say we have a single text line field labeled “Promotion” custom field (cp_promotion)
2. The Promotion field serves to allow the user to announce a discount or special promo on their ad along with featuring the Promo on a dedicated Widget.
3. The plugin would offer different Addon options to purchase, same way as CP Addons.
4. the content of the Promo field or the Promo field itself will expire (cleared/removed) based on the Addon they purchased
Example:
User wants to announce a discount price on their listed item, the plugin offers the option to Highlight the field for x days + optional Bump + optional Display in the dedicated Widget, once the purchased Addon package expires, the field is no longer highlighted nor displayed in the dedicated widget.
The dedicated widget works like a “shout box” displaying the latest promos.
Is this something you would consider or would it be feasible with CP Addons if tweaked?
